Wayne Family Practice boasts a certified laboratory for the convenient and efficient care of our patients. We perform many tests “in-house” that can provide our doctors and their patients with information needed to treat you while your are visiting. This provides for efficient and time saving evaluations and can prevent follow-up office visits or delays in your treatment while waiting on test result. Other labs are sent to a reference laboratory and usually the results are returned the next day. Our licensed and certified lab technicians are trained to draw your blood, perform your tests and help provide you and your doctor with timely results. We will also assist you with keeping abreast with insurance and government regulations concerning time-frames and diagnoses that are required for re-imbursements of ordered tests. We are the only physician facility in Wayne County with such a broad range of lab services. |
